I just got back last week. I know I havent been uploading anything...this is something funny. I came across this picture while I was looking for some old school underground house mixtapes from the rave hey days (pre Steve Aoki and Hollywood bullshiet!)....this is the old school brand CLOBBER. hahahah...Bobby Hundred might have his input on how cool it is to have a Fresh Jive tshirt, but real old school fools like me knew how it was really done. Back in the days kids....Rick Klotz was killing flyer designs..cause you got to remember photoshop/AI was the new thing...So you would see Rick's shiet on the typical CITRUSONIC Wed nite afterhours flyer. With infamous drag queen Rocky Raccon and dj Doc Martin...a bay transplant that perfected his own west coast mixing style..and occasionally rotating dj's of Dj Dan or Barry Weaver. So all the loyal club devotees would buy these shirts out of Ricks car trunk, or local cool guy store that was on Melrose ave. at the time. I always wondered what happened to CLOBBER? Kids loved these brands because of the colors and print..it looked FRESH when we were candy flippin...hahahahha..oh yea STEVE AOKI NEVER RAVED!!! HE WAS ONE OF THOSE DUDES THAT KICKED AT LOCAL LA PUNK ROCK GIGS AND PLACES LIKE THE ANTI CLUB.or the UKRAINIAN CENTER..cmon dont front Steve!hahaha

This is funny shiet! I was going to the bathroom after getting some noodle, I was entering to the mens room and it was under construction and theres no other bathroom, so I just ran into the womens. So I was in Ximen today. This is one of my favorite shopping area. When I used to run with Westmill, I spent alot of time there. This lil hole in the wall has been there for the last 30 yrs, and the son just took over. They sell a $3.00 USD BENTO, that you can pick, either fish, pork chop, chicken, and pork belly meat. It comes with some side garnish of nappa cabbage, an "tea egg", and some salted veggies. This is a pure fusion of the Northern Chinese /Taiwanese/Japanese. The Japanese has ruled the majority of the island prior to the Kuomingtang rule, this had given the Island a different flavor......

This is where club Luxy and XLARGE store, and other hipster spots and cool guy joints...ehhehhe..i ended up at this spot for hot pot..all u can eat, and Haagen Daaz ice cream with local Taiwanese oolong tea...

As Im getting ready for my oversea trip...I had to make my visit to my favorite Taiwanese joint before coming to Taiwan...hehehheeh..Squid Vermicelli noodle, and Taiwanese stir fry sweet rice (yo fan) and chon yo bing (northern chinese green onion bread).....The funny thing this bread, nam, bin, foccacia, are all derived from the Silk Road....

Im getting ready to head back to Taiwan and HK for some work, so it should be QUITE fun! Hehehe..although I will spend some time visiting a few spots...I took my old co workers/homies from Famous Stars and Straps to Taiwan, but we never had a chance to hit up..this spot on the North East coast or Taiwan by Taipei. I spent a few summers there as a kid...I used to bug out...on these UFO pads...im gonna look for those old flicks...but this is what it is...hehehe...(next time Ryan and Jen!!!)
